Dr Keith’s Sunday Meeting Becomes a Permanent Fixture

I enjoyed myself greatly at our first “Sunday meeting”. Yes, Sunday is a special day for reflection—but there were no religious overtones. Just friends chatting and chewing the cud.

It seemed a useful thing to do. We have all had our attention on the pandemic. There has been much negative scare-mongering, of course. But I began to ask ,“What positive good has come of this?” and was delighted with the replies that we shared. A LOT of good is out there in the world! It just never gets reported or sensationalized.

Best of all, I thought, was a retired teacher’s comment, that there was more time at home with the children, bonding and sharing the true values of life, instead of “educational standards”. This might be the first generation in decades that puts a value on love, nature, creativity and connection, instead of just exams and grading at school!

Anyway, I made a BIG mistake when I organized this first meeting, which was not to have everyone interested register for it. The result is I can’t get back to most of those who attended, because the system doesn’t know who you were and I only saw a handful of names I recognized.

It means I can’t send certain materials to those who requested it. So if you were such a one, please reply and let us know who you are and what you want from me.

For next time, please accept the extra step of registering your interest in my Sunday meetings. You are not making a promise or undertaking that you will attend regularly, or anything like that. Just saying “This is interesting to me, please keep me informed.”

You’ll never see sponsorship or promotional emails from this. It will just be a growing list of people who want that extra spiritual dimension in living and would like to be kept informed of when the next meeting is, and what will be discussed.

And don’t forget, YOU can speak into the meeting, if there is something you want to share. We all take it in turns.

So there is a real sense of community, that will banish loneliness. We are all FRIENDS!

If you didn’t make the last meeting (like Oz and Asia, who were in an unsuitable time zone), you can catch up here. Slightly slow start, as we felt our way. But it soon got going.

Meantime, everyone who was there, I hope to see you again this next Sunday! The link to register for everyone is here.

Date: 24th May 2020

Time: 11.00 am Pacific Daylight time (2.00 pm Eastern, 7.00 pm UK, 8.00 pm Europe)

[I’ll be experimenting with different times, to see which works best]

We’ll dig a little deeper into the infinite mind model and non-material Being and why that speaks immediately and comprehensively to LOVE! It will have slight scriptural qualities and I’m glad about that! Just remember we don’t do religion.

In fact I’m starting to think about terms like “new scriptures” or “scriptures in the making.” What is a scripture then? I looked it up online and one of the stupidest definitions was “the sacred writings of Christianity contained in the Bible.” How divisive is that? Numerous religions all over the planet have THEIR version of what may be called “sacred writings”. In fact scripture just means “writing” (same root as script or de-scription).

I’ve had enough of quarrelsome religions claiming everyone has to see things their way, otherwise they are wrong, wrong, damned and WRONG! We get the same thing from the pro-vaxxers, the globalists, the communists, the capitalists, gay activists, black activists, white activists, eco-warriors, vegans vs. Mankind… when will this division stop?

Basically, when the people of Earth come to their senses. See, there are other reasons to pursue good behaviors. Scientific reasons.

His Holiness The Dalai Lama famously said, “My religion is kindness.” That makes sense to me.

Love is also the SCIENTIFIC option! It ticks the boxes, it changes lives, it’s logical. We need it in the world today like never before. People are so hostile out there, all as a result of virus mania.

Yesterday my wife Vivien was in the nail spa and the woman next to her told of an alarming event in the local Supermarket. I woman in her fifties was swaggering about, carrying two guns, live in their holsters (in Nevada, it’s legal to carry a gun, without a license, providing it is not hidden).

Apparently she whipped out the guns and pointed them at the man behind her in the line (queue) and yelled “Get back,” (meaning social distancing). I call this very UN-social distancing: menacing, psychotic fear, in actuality. But that’s how crazy our world now is, carefully orchestrated by mad men and, one supposes, mad women too.

Somebody, somewhere, is getting the outcome they wanted.

So I have a lot to say about what I’m calling THE HEART OF GOLD. The booklet is written. I’m just getting it prettied up, before I offer it for download (freebie, of course).

Here’s a good quote:

“Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.”
– Henry James, (1843-1916), noted American-born English essayist, critic, and author.

Here’s to love, light and caring, honest intentions,

Stay Safe,
