How to Get Rid of Candida, Yeast, and Mold

Anyone who has ever dealt with a yeast infection can tell you it is no fun. When you hear the term “yeast infection,” your first instinct is to think that it’s a malady women alone have to deal with. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

How Get Rid of Candida & Yeast – An Equal Opportunity Health Problem

Athlete’s foot, jock itch, mold allergies, even a common fungal infection that causes toenails to thicken and turn yellow can be traced back to yeast.

You may be familiar with thrush, also known as candida, a common infection in newborn babies. Men can even develop candidiasis, a yeast infection of the penis.

Yeast doesn’t discriminate by age or gender. What can you do to keep yourself healthy and how to get rid of candida and prevent these infections?

What Causes Yeast Infections?

First, it is important to know what causes outbreaks of yeast infections to begin with.

Let’s start with some common issues, most of which are specific to women:

  • Panty liners:Many gynecologists advise against using panty liners if you’re prone to yeast or urinary tract infections. Yeast thrives in warm moist environments and panty liners block air from circulating to your body’s most delicate parts. Your best option is to use unscented tampons and cotton panties or, if possible, no underwear at all.
  • Low estrogen levels: Estrogen plays a vital role in the development of a woman’s body. However, hormonal levels naturally rise and fall through the course of your menstrual cycle. Shortly before the beginning of your period, your estrogen levels fall and the chance of a yeast infection increases. Adding pro-biotic yogurt to your diet during this time can help lower your chances of an infection.
  • Sugar consumption: Sugar causes problems, regardless of gender. Sugar and yeast go hand in hand. While you may believe you’re being health conscious by loading your plate with fresh fruit in the morning, you may actually be causing a blood sugar spike, stimulating yeast in your body. The key to sugar consumption is moderation.

Since 1944, there have been over 28,000 studies on candida. It’s been linked to disorders and diseases as diverse as sinusitis, fibromyalgia, and spastic colon. Yeast has been flying under the radar for quite some time now and sugar has been the pilot!

Sugar in Moderation

So, how do you get rid of candida? It’s nearly impossible to avoid sugar in the standard western diet. White flour in the form of pizza, pasta, breads, biscuits, cookies, and cakes – are all easily fermentable forms of starch, which turns to sugar to feed Candida.

But there are steps you can take to get the “right” kinds of sugars into your body. There’s nothing wrong with having some fruit. Those natural sugars in moderate servings are healthy and necessary for your body to function.Get Rid of Candida

Concentrated, processed sugars on the other hand – found in bottled fruit juices, cookies, or anything from the snack food aisle – are what you want to avoid.

The average soft drink contains as much as twelve teaspoons of sugar per can! Even without the added worry of stimulating yeast growth, that much sugar is not healthy!

Like all things concerning your health, it comes down to making good decisions. Read labels, buy organic whenever possible, and be mindful of what you’re putting into your body.

A little sugar now and then isn’t a bad thing. Understanding the overall impact sugar has on your body is the first step in taking control and ridding your body of candida and yeast.

You know the old wives’ tale of Granny’s nose, which would twitch just before it rained? Well, that’s quite credible and more scientific than you would think.

Just before rain atmospheric pressure falls and molds release their spores. A sensitive person will find their nose irritated and maybe, eventually, start sneezing!

You’ll find many more fascinating facts like this in my must-have eBook which I have entitled “Beyond Candida”.

It’s a far bigger problem than you think, not just in terms of sufferers; I mean the significance of taking too many antibiotics. Click here to find out why our immune systems are on the decline and get the full story today.
