WHO has announced it is about to rename the monkeypox virus “to combat racism and stigma.” Oh yes? The announcement mirrors a similar move after a growing mass of people began associating the coronavirus with China and Chinese people. Well, why wouldn’t they? Most people are not stupid!
And don’t you believe it will help them then build monkey pox up into a deadly pandemic, once its harmless true nature is obscured? You bet your a** it will.

They re-named COVID-19 to scare people more: SARS-Covid-2. Everyone remembers SARS, 2003… deadly, wasn’t it?
No it wasn’t! Not at all. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a total of 8,098 people worldwide became sick with SARS during the 2003 outbreak. Of these, 774 died. In the United States, only eight people had laboratory evidence of SARS-CoV infection. [CDC website]
8,000 cases in the whole world? 8 cases in the entire USA? C’mon! That’s very much a non-event.
It’s all a vast yawn. But you know the faking and squeezing is getting worse and worse. The obvious question is: where will it all end?
Woke? We are getting ethnic issues, homosexuality and gender issues thrust down our throat daily, to the point where you want to yack it back up! You see it everywhere today (and it’s not welcome):
A recent Apple movie version of Isaac Asimov’s great classic sci-fi epic The Foundation had switched out the exciting, dynamic and very “macho” hero Mayor Salvor Hardin was turned into a woman! (not only that but—dare I say it—a woman of color). It’s like re-shooting Julius Caesar and having him played by a black-African woman. Why?
It’s all just going too far. And if you think it’s not a problem, why then I put it to you that we should have that murderous psychopath Emperor Caligula played by a woman of color (if someone already did that, PLEASE don’t write and tell me!)

Probably ionizing radiation (radio-activity) should be re-named “magic moonbeams”; rabies (La Rage) will be known as the “no water diet” and cancer is to be called “YOU, on the loose”.
Parasites are often thought to be a manifestation from the Great Unwashed. Maybe we should start using the term “clean person sharing of zoonotic resources”?
Mind you, for really silly disease names, there are some real ones, like maple syrup urine disease, Darling disease (a lung condition named after the man who discovered it) and cat scratch fever. But the one that takes the biscuit has to be Grinch Syndrome. (You know, the Dr. Seuss character; was made into a whole bunch of Grinch movies).
Those with genuine Grinch Syndrome have a heart that’s ‘two sizes too small.’ (actually a nickname for “Orthostatic Hypotension and Syncope”, which has nothing to do with heart size).
Re-Writing Truth
It’s something we all have to live with these days. Another “medical” article stuck in my craw. It was a thinly disguised attack on Donald Trump, pretending to be science. The Trump administration, apparently, killed millions, by misdirecting the public away from the COVID vaccines.
Well, memory would have to be VERY short to uphold that one. I remember personally that Trump rushed the vaccines through the process (or rather rushed them in with lack of process; something which I find unforgivable).
But according to the article, “evidence” has emerged that the Trump administration embraced a “dangerous and discredited herd immunity via mass infection strategy” prior to the availability of COVID-19 vaccines and treatments, according to a new report from the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis.
I mean: “the dangerous and discredited herd immunity via mass infection.” IT’S THE ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE HERD IMMUNITY AND HAS BEEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!
Getting this meme going has been the wet dream of Big Pharma and they have almost succeeded—but only by silencing those with knowledge and integrity who say otherwise. The bleating shills have been allowed their day in the gutter because all competition has been sidelined.
Not that mere facts are of any concern to James Clyburn, chair of the subcommittee, who said in a statement that an investigation “revealed extensive evidence of the Trump administration’s efforts to undermine the nation’s public health response to the coronavirus crisis in an attempt to benefit the former president politically.”
“This dereliction of duty resulted in significant loss of life that could have been prevented. [Apparently nobody else made a single mistake anywhere, only Trump!] We must honor those we’ve lost by bringing this shameful recent history to light and ensuring that it is never repeated — politics must never again be prioritized over the health and lives of the American people.”
The report noted that the Trump administration recruited Scott Atlas MD, who urged Trump administration officials to promote the herd immunity strategy with “deadly consequences,” according to the report.
“The concept of allowing herd immunity to develop via natural infection had a major consequence to it,” William Schaffner, MD, of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, apparently told MedPage Today. “Natural infection had the capacity to make very many people—older people, people with underlying illnesses, people who are immunocompromised—very, very sick.”
“That price is too high,” he added. “We don’t do that in public health. What we try to do is protect the weak, not expose them to illness and the risk of dying.”
What humbug! Where do they get these phoneys-to-order. Or are they really, REALLY just stupid? The obvious flaw in Schaffner’s argument is that vaccination did NOT protect them (how could it?) They died in droves. AND EVEN WORSE: vaccination killed and harmed millions of vulnerable people, not that we are allowed to ever report this inconvenient truth in public discussion…
But then the whole point of my essay is that medical science is crushed or has fled. It’s replaced political machinations and evil posturings of this sort.
Trouble is, the real loser is not Donald Trump (as if…) It’s Mother Nature and her skills and whiles. I’ve written before (often—and in fury) —that modern Big Pharma has tried to marginalize Nature as an interfering busybody humbug, whereas, in fact, she’s all we’ve got to cling on to in this sea of troubles and outrageous political storms.
