A serious and intelligent correspondent of mine, who has my book “How To Survive In A World Without Antibiotics“, called my attention to a thought provoking piece at WorldNetWeekly (www.wnd.com). She posed the very reasonable question: can we protect ourselves against possible microbial warfare by Islamic fanatics on a jihad, using the data I have assembled on alternative antimicrobials? Before I give you my surprise the answer, let me tell you the Hell Fire scenario that Islam fundamentalists are (supposedly) fermenting for the West. According to an alarming report by an individual who goes by the pseudonym of Reza Kahlili, information has been leaked by a source with knowledge of Iran’s microbial research and development, that Iranian scientists, with Russian and North Korean help, currently possess eight extremely dangerous microbial agents that, if unleashed, could kill millions of people. The source disclosed that Iran was working on 18 agents, with four completed. The source has now provided information that with work at two other plants, Iran has created a total of eight microbial agents, with research on insects to be used as the vector to infect the societies of its enemies. The eight agents are anthrax, encephalitis (the blueprint of this virus, Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis, was provided by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in an agreement two years ago with the Islamic regime), yellow grain (developed with the help of North Korea), SARS, Ebola, cholera, smallpox and plague. For decades I–and a bunch of clever and astute physicians, headed by Theron Randolph MD of Chicago–were proclaiming that chemicals in our environment were making people sick. I floated the term “human canaries” to describe those who were showing us that it wasn’t safe for us and I’m pleased the say the term has stuck. This was not just a case of extreme chemical sensitivity. Chemicals seemed to disturb the immune balance and led to allergies. The poisoning of detox pathways in the liver and mitochondria meant that the effect of these xenobiotic chemicals was made worse over time. Some luckless individuals couldn’t cope and went down, savagely sick with almost everything they breathed or came into contact with and the press howled slogans like “allergic to the 20th century!” (we used the term universal reactors). I’m pleased to say that, with one notable exception, the press and TV went with my stories. They were concerend, even sympathetic. But my colleagies and I were blasted by the blow-hard dinosaurs in the profession, which considered it madness that there could be any health problems from general food allergy, never mind environmental chemicals. One particularly vicious gang was what is now called the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI); they attacked anything and everything that was a threat to their income stream, with lies, abuse, fake science and even criminal invasions.

This is an example of the utter crap which drives me crazy. As an experienced physician, trying to teach people the difference between science fact and fantasy, I find it very upsetting that this sort of drivel gets circulated, sometimes by serious and intelligent individuals, who ask me what I think Read it first (an extract), then I’ll give you the true story, which is a million miles from this baloney… Lemon (Citrus) is a miraculous product to kill cancer cells. The source of this information is fascinating: it comes from one of the largest drug manufacturers in the world, says that after more than 20 laboratory tests since 1970, the extracts revealed that It destroys the malignant cells in 12 cancers, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas… The compounds of this tree showed 10,000 times better than the product Adriamycin, (a drug normally used as chemotherapeutic in the world, slowing the growth of cancer cells.) And what is even more astonishing: this type of therapy with lemon extract only destroys malignant cancer cells and it does not affect healthy cells. Whatever brain-damaged idiot wrote this and put it into circulation wants jailing as a public nuisance. It’s made up nonsense.

I’ve done it, at need, and once had a mouthful of vomit from the victim to contend with. Kids these days… they don’t know what first aid is! (poor attempt at the Monty Python, “Four Yorkshiremen” joke). More technically, this have-a-go first aid rescue technique is called “bystander CPR” and it has saved many lives [CPR = cardio-pulmonary resuscitation]. But what’s emerged is that you don’t need the slobbering kiss part; just compressing the chest regularly works the lungs quite sufficiently.
