Veggies No Longer Nourishing

Keith Scott-Mumby

They keep telling us to eat 5 servings of veggies a day, as if that is all you need. We are told to eat a “balanced diet”, as if that contains all the nutrients that are vital to health. That’s based on lousy opinion, from 50 years ago, when nutritional science had hardly started. Even if it was true then (it wasn’t), in 2011 that advice is deadly and flawed. According to expert Heinrich Elmer, today you would need 10 servings of vegetables to equal just one serving from 50 years ago!1 Hidden Hunger “Vitamin and mineral deficiency is the source of the most massive ‘hidden hunger’ and malnutrition in the world today. The ‘hidden hunger’ due to micronutrient deficiency does not produce hunger as we know it.” said UNICEF’s Deputy Executive Director Mr. Kul C. Gautam, at a press conference at UNICEF House on 24th March 2004.

Chromium and confusion

Keith Scott-Mumby

You may have noticed that confusion and conflict start to show, when even expert writers are talking about chromium. That’s a sure sign that knowledge is not really concrete. Dr. Al Sears, for example, a writer I admire, is telling us in one newsletter we can get chromium from beef (true) and then a couple weeks later is telling us their isn’t much chromium in beef and grains (also true). Chromium made pigs lean he said. One study took commercial pigs and fed them chromium, and measured significant fat reduction. Researchers changed nothing else about the pigs … all they did was give them chromium and they got leaner (less fat) and gained muscle. 1 Another study at the University of Kentucky found much the same thing. They added chromium to the diet of pigs and got an “increased percentage of muscle and decreased percentage of fat.”2  But then other quality websites swing the opposite way. According to the Linus Pauling Institute, at Oregon State University, studies show that chromium is of little use in losing weight. The studies they quote clearly showed that; but were they holding back on the studies that DID show chromium helps lose weight?

Total Cure For Diabetes Rejected By Doctors

Keith Scott-Mumby

This is another “I Told ‘Em!” Something I’ve been saying for decades and now science is beginning to prove I was right all along! For nearly 40 years I’ve been asking why diabetics are given “lines” of carbohydrate and told to eat it and then take their insulin to reduce it!  If diabetes is a disease which cannot safely handle carbs, why is God’s name tell patients to eat the stuff? It has never made sense. I’ve cured thousands of diabetics by simply saying “Do not eat carbohydrates.” A great many of them came off insulin altogether. Now a new study has shown that a very low-calorie diet of 600 calories a day totally reverses type 2 diabetes. Eleven people who had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes within the past four years slashed their calories for eight weeks, sticking to liquid diet drinks and non-starchy vegetables. After one week on the diet, participants’ fasting blood sugar levels were no longer elevated.

Champagne is a whole food and good for your health!

Keith Scott-Mumby

I’m noted for being on record with the BBC as saying “Champagne is a whole food; there’s nothing in the bottle but grapes and bubbles!” Now science is backing up what I said! Over the years, I’ve been so far ahead of the curve, often decades ahead, that I have invented my “I Told ‘Em!” […]

Vitamin D and Brain Disease

Keith Scott-Mumby

You really CANNOT afford to go short of vitamin D. Remember, it’s silly cheap, so there is no need to skimp. You can get 5,000 IU (plenty for an adult), 240 caps, for under $8 if you Google it! Take only D3, by the way, not the very inferior form of D2. Vitamin D2 was the first synthetic form of Vitamin D. Vegans use it.  D2 can be used to fortify foods, it’s in some vitamin D supplements and is the type put in all vitamin prescriptions. Therefore, don’t bother your doctor for a script. You’ll get junk nutrition. Vitamin D insufficiency has been associated with a variety of clinical disorders and chronic diseases, including impaired balance, decreased muscle strength, mood and cognitive dysfunction, autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis and diabetes (types 1 and 2), and certain forms of cancer. Woa! This goes way beyond preventing rickets! It even goes beyond vitamin D as an immune stimulator.

I can’t believe nature is this stupid

Keith Scott-Mumby

Nature Is Really Dumb (Or So Most Doctors Think… they really believe they know better) You know what I think! Nature is wise and a million times more powerful than any scientist or doctor. She’s a metaphor, of course. But if old Granny Nature was out there, I bet she’d be pretty pee’ed off with […]

DNA Typing Essential To Choose Your Best Weight Loss Plan

Keith Scott-Mumby

Here’s a big step forward in dieting technique. Ever wonder why some people seem to lose weight easily and yet others, on exactly the same regimen, don’t seem to be able to lose at all? The answer always was that people are different. But to understand just how different, we need modern science, especially an understanding of DNA variability.
